Stereo Help - no graphics on Z828

Ok, I'm sure I could probably do a search on this, but I wasn't exactly sure if it would return what I was looking for.

Somehow or another, I've lost the graphics on my deck. I think this is an actual function as it doesn't seem broken, just none of the graphics/animation stuff. I don't know how to get it back and while I can always read the manual tonight if I must, I figured I'd pose the question here in the hopes someone could tell me how to get them back.

Thanks!

hey ryan..it sounds like you have your stereo set on a different display mode...click on the button that is to the right of the att key..there are three different display modes..they look different depending on if you have an audio cd or mp3 cd, I hope this helps..by the way how did Sunday night go? Sorry, got stuck doing things, so I couldn't make it

Blue - just to let you know if the above is not the case... I have a z828 and all the graphics decided to haywire one day. I couldn't even make out the radio station on it or the volume for that matter. I eventually got it replaced under warrenty from mazda. I remember reading a couple other threads somewhere about this. It took me about two weeks to get it straightned out with mazda, but they just replaced the whole unit. So, just an FYI if that's the case.

yes i have heard of this happening with the 828's several of them have had problems with the whole graphic system going out. That is why i would advise staying away from kenwood they have gotten so cheap recently i cant believe it. i have an alpine and just absolutly love it.

Actually nothing at all was broken everyone and Velo posted the exactly right solution. I've switched display modes before, I guess I just never realized one had no graphics at all like that. Thanks for the tip and I'll remember it next time! :)
