Steering wheel audio button finish issue

Anyone have the finish start peeling off of the steering wheel audio buttons? I know there was a TSB for the silver finish on the door handle a few years ago; I've got about 4,000 miles to go on my warranty, and I'll give it a shot to get it covered. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and if it was fixed without hassle. Thanks.

BUMP. FYI--it is covered under warranty, if anyone else encounters this.

Just got my CX-9, so I can't comment on the question. However, it is good to know it's covered under warranty.

I'm curious what they would do though, replace the whole wheel? Just the buttons? Paint them?

No issues here on mine. but i will keep an eye on it. Even if i did finish off my warranty about a week ago when i hit 36,000.

The buttons are their own assembly. I think the entire button cluster gets replaced.

Mine are also wearing off, I'll mention it when I go to get my radio looked at this week.
