Stainless bumper protector noticedproblem

Does anyone have any experience in removing the stainless bumper guard
that is attached via 3M tape?
Installation was very easy and I thought I had done it perfectly but noticed
that I wasn't careful in lining it up perfectly straight.
It's gonna bug me til I fix it. Just wondering now if I can remove it without
destroying it.

you can saw it off using dental floss between the protector and the bumper. it will take a while. Clean off the the tape residue from the back of the protector and the top of the bumper. I like 3M adhesive remover. Reapply double-sided trim tape to back of protector, again I like 3M. Not gonna lie, it's gonna be a PITA and take a while.
