Sport Edition SE-16 wheels

Hey guys so I had a question that maybe someone here can answer. I'm looking at running the sport edition SE-16 wheels except the only size I can find are the 17" wheels and tirerack says they come in 15"-17". Would it be perfectly logical to say that since tirerack is automatically going to the 17" wheels for the P5 that if I were to find a pair of 16" wheels that they would fit at well?

looks like the 16x7.5 sizes come in a +38 and +50 offset? either of those will fit the protege5 just fine. the +38 will be tight to the fender, and may require some rolling.

i think the 17x7.5 +48 would look nicer...

So are you saying that even the 16 x 7.5 5/114.3 38 mm. offset would still be a tight fit with the fenders?

depending on tire size, its going to be real close to the fenders. are you stock height, or lower?

Currently stock, looking at going to the racing beat springs so will end up being a little lower but right now stock and running 205/45/16 for tires on stock wheels. Just trying to avoid rubbing and having to roll the fenders at if at all possible.

Go with high offset 17's they look better. 17x7 +50 or 52mm offset racing harts on my old mp3 looked great

Guys I'm just looking for a good looking wheel that won't break the bank and that I won't ever have to worry about rub issues
