Split Second fuel controller check engine light

I just installed my split second air fuel controller, I followed the instructions that came with it. When i started the car for the first time it died out than I started it again and it stayed on, but the check engine came on. I took it for a test drive it drives fine and no hesitation just the check engine light is on anybody else had this problem???

Get the code read, if you had the battery disconnected, then the car stalling is normal for the first few startups and the idle may be jumpy until the ECU finishes adjusting. As far as the light, get the code read, could be your wiring with the ssafc or something else.

thanks i re looked at the wiring one of the wires ripped when i put everything back together I patched that wire up everything is fine with no engine light
