There you go.

Sorry DutchGun you seem to be a bit mad...I thought you guys would go in more depth with the conversation but if this is the case never mind I ask

Didn't mean to come off that way. I was just giving my comparisons or the reason you would buy each vehicle.

Then sorry for the confusion...lol...I'm just in the position of choosing the speed3 or SI coupe and never had a really good comparision yet...

I hear people all the time make a comparision that i could never understand, Example like "the speed3 got bigger wheels and the si plastic (interior) sux ass man"...I picture a comparision chart to be wheels vs wheels and handling vs handling, and NOT horsepower vs lights...I guess i got to find out myself

Go find the December 06 Road & Track - they have the MS3 and the Si in their 12 best for under 30K - and on page 114 of the March issue you will find the spec sheets for both the Si and the MS3 (in the Road Test Summary)

Most opinions you will find on a forum will be of the very personal and emotional type which arent all that bad of a balance to the raw data the car mags will put out... after all the MS3 has the same 0-60 as a Rolls-Royce Phantom so raw numbers arent everything.....if anything they can serve as comedy

I'll agree on the overpriced, but people pay that assuming the car is easily going to eclipse 300,000 km (200,000 miles).

I'm not sure Mazda has quite the same reputation for engine longevity.

The honda name will sell. Whether it's cars, lawn mowers, motorcycles, generators, or anything else with the name HONDA stamped on it. I have found most Honda products a bit benign. I've owned several honda motorcycles and found them to be a bit vanilla, but stone assed reliable. I think they build a great car for those want to be "safe" in their decision. There's an edginess with other auto makers who are trying to capitolize on people who want something less plain. The Civic Si is a very nice car. The interior was not what I would have liked to see and the gauges were kinda...meh. No turbo, nothing all that crazy. Just a 4 cylinder that makes HP courtesy of high revs. Vtec is soooo 1994
