I am wanting to upgrade my speakers on my car. I really want to use a wiring harness for it, but it seems there is not one made for this car. I have not opened up my doors to see what the plug looks like. Do you think its just a matter of time before one is made? Or do you think they will just never make one for this vehicle? I would really not like to splice the wires.
Also, I am thinking of polk mobile monitors components. Not sure how this would wire up. I could put the 6.5" in the door. Then the tweeter in the dash. Is the existing wiring for the tweeter connect to the door speaker? So it would be an easy install, Putting in the door speaker, and crossover, and the wire is already there running up to the tweeter. At least that is what I am hoping.
Or I can just the the polk mobile monitor coaxial speakers.
I will need a little more power for the speakers. So I am thinking of using either a Clarion or Alpine power pack, That will up the power to 50 rms.
