I have been having this hesitation happening now for a week. When I mash the pedal I get this hesitation or stuttering problem. I recently changed the plugs and that helped for a day but now it's doing it again. I am replacing the wires tomorrow. It seems like there isn't enough fuel getting to the cylinders. Maybe my injectors are dirty? What injector cleaner do you guys suggest? Thanks.

I added some lucas injector cleaner today. It ran strong today after I gave her a wash and wax. Then after about 10 miles of driving it started doing the stuttering again. Only when I accelerate really fast. I stopped at home depot to grab something and when I got back in my car it wasn't doing it anymore. I think my next step is the wires.

I changed my plugs, wires, and coil packs on wednesday. Then, whenever i hit boost it would stumble. Changed plugs, wires, and coil packs back to original and no issues.
What are the plugs you are using now? The stock Iradiums?

The plugs, wires, and coil packs are the ones installed at dealership for my 30k mile tune up. Plugs are NGK R PZFR6F. Installed by Mazda along w/plugs and coil packs. They now have 40k miles on them and i've tried replacing twice with local auto store crap. And car won't run in boost on them. So I take them right back out and put original stuff back in, I've been researching online for best coil packs and wires, but Nology is only thing i found that is decent
Why not do a search here and see what every else is running? I believe the popular ones are NGK BKR7E's. copper plugs.
It's been 120 miles since I put in that injector cleaner and my MSP has been running great. Maybe that is what fixed it. I hope I didn't jinx myself by writing this post...
Well it happened again today. I can tell you what I did and maybe that will help you guys figure out what is going on. I was given the MSP a good cleaning today. I opened up the hood and gave it a good spray down with some engine cleaner (de-greasing agent). I then let that soak and lightly spray it down with the hose. Now after about my 4 hours of my car sitting I get in it to go for a ride and boom, hesitation again. The boost holds at around 6 psi but the car is stuttering and hesitating like a mother f'er. So I'm wondering where the water is getting in that it shouldn't be. Any ideas? Maybe my MAF sensor is getting wet?
im going to guess that its either your wastegate, the wastegate, or perhaps the wastegate.
i would check your wastegate. very common MSP problem. I had it. was $100 for a new one.

Was thinking this also after reading numerous threads regarding issues with the wastegate. Now just have to find one for a good price.

have you tested the WGA yet?
No. Do I just need to see if air goes through it?

Take the vac line off of it and blow into the WGA via the vac line. If you can pass air through it is shot and you need a new one. If its like trying to blow through a straw with your finger over the other end its good and you need to look else where for issues. I would suggest looking for boost leaks if the WGA is good.
Done. And it's good. Like what you said above. I'm glad someone brought this up though cause I may replace it in the future anyway. So, back to the drawing board.

The WGA isn't hard to replace but it does take some time and can be a pita to do if you haven't done it before. So you always want to test that before you go replacing it to save yourself a headache.
Yeah that is what I have been reading for the last hour now in a 11 page long thread.
