Some sort of stain or condensation in the rpm guage?

I can't exactly tell what it is or how it got there but I just bought my 3 used and I'm just noticing this. Can anyone shed some light on these shots or how I can, uh, fix it?

I mean, it's something I can live with, but I just thought I'd ask.

it looks like air bubbles from a vinyl overlay??

I just installed my laminx vinyls on my headlights and those spots look exactly like the air bubbles on my laminx when I was installing. Luckily they're gone because of the sun but I'm not sure if yours will go away.

If it is in fact air bubbles because there was vinyl applied, you could take it off or blow dry it (but this might take a looooooong time)

thats my two cents. if you find out please let us know how to avoid!

I have a very similar haze on a small spot on my tach.
I suspect that mine is result of some cleaning product that was on a rag that I wiped the dash with.
Mine is only a small spot andmay have been armor all cleaning cloth that did it.

Did you recently wipe it with some sort of cleaner?

And no, I didn't use any cleaner it just seems that it has been there since I bought it.

How weird that someone else has this! I bought my 2006 HB a few months ago and I just noticed this exact same thing on mine! I have tried wiping it with a wet rag and it will not come off- it's definitely inside. I have personally never used any armor all or anything on it but I did buy it used so maybe the person before me did.

It drives me crazy and would love to know if anyone else has any ideas on what it is and how to get it off.(scratch)

Yeah, that is what I was hoping I wouldnt have to do...

I am probably just going to rough it out, not worth disassembling my entire cabin.
