Eclipse 8445, Mb quart reference - very harsh still. Hifonics 500d , kicker 350.4, Ed 120v2. Mostly stuff left over from the mazda, some new some old, and yes the crossovers will be covered. Dam mb quart and their gigantic crossovers.

Drooling at the Eclipse Head Unit...if I ever have to replace the stock Kenwood...I would go with an Eclipse unit again... (thumb)

Still drooling at the Eclipse Head Unit...what did that cost?? Oh yea, and the MB Quart components...
I now have a puddle at my feet...

The radio retails for 599 i think, and the components around 350. Did not pay anything near that thoe. The speakers will be changed eventually for better less harsh 3 ways from CDT or Focal.

I know I'm going to eventually get an Eclipse Head Unit again. I am thinking JL Audio Speakers, and possibly JL Audio Amps as well...that is a ways off...quite a long ways off...I had MB Quarts a while back, they were awesome until you turned them waay up, then they were very harsh...
edit: here's a pic of my old trunk, back in the day...

Damn, you guys should have had a sponsorship from Mazda or something.

I am diggin the head unit, looks badass.

Everything looks good, except the crossover install. (poke)
Maybe put them under the seat? Sure, it takes more wire, put you'll gain the usage of those pockets again.

Putting them under the seats means running extra wires through the door jam...something that is never a fun task. I'd just put them behind the door panel somewhere.
