i was going on an on ramp (cloverleaf so spiraling down from a bridge to an access road it went over) the lady in an altima in front of me on ramp came to a complete stop for no reason and i swerved and accidentally locked up wheels and slammed my p5 into the guard rail! the rim took the brunt of the impact but it scratched up fender pretty bad and oddly enough, broke the steering rack! thank god for full coverage insurance! i get er back monday and i will post the before and after pics when i get er back

here is the pic right after wreck, destroyed tire, went ahead and bought 4 new ones as all 4 on there were over half worn so 1 new would have thrown off balance

She shouldn't be allowed on the road because you were following too close?

Nowhere in his post does he admit to following her too close. The accident was her fault because she came to a complete stop in a high speed zone "for no
reason".

i wasnt following too close, but i was most likely going too fast, taught me to slow down on those ramps! i will post an after pic when the rain dries and i clean it again at the end of the week, it looks great, but now my passenger headlight has driver headlight envy because its oxidized slightly, but i cleaned it and polished it to as new looking as it will get.

i may have been too close for the speed i was going, had i been a little slower i would have most likely kept my car in control.if i had hit her it would have been my fault 100% and i realize that, im just saying people should know to not stop in the middle of a ramp for no reason,i would have expected it at the yield sign at bottom if car would have been coming. i learned this car is fun to drive, but i need to slow down. i will post an after pic when the rain dries and i clean it again at the end of the week, it looks great, but now my passenger headlight has driver headlight envy because its oxidized slightly, but i cleaned it and polished it to as new looking as it will get.

Learned that lesson last week while on a 'fun-cruise' in the snow. I've been driving and taught how to drive in snowy conditions, so no big deal. However I had this lady in a sebring sliding across a 2 lane road at me and ended up having to go off the road in a slide after she hit the back corner of my p5. Luckily I had saw her sliding up a little ways and was only going 20...

"just cause you can drive, doesn't mean others can" - perfect example.

Glad she's okay, mine will be soon
