This station is awesome...just discovered it today. It's all downbeat electronic music...made my hour long commute home much more relaxing.

Anybody else listen to this station on Sirius?

I listen to BPM 81 on XM now. But when I had Sirius I was always listening to 61. So yeah its all really good.

BPM, Area, Chill, they're all really good!!

If you guys like online music, especially techno/house/trance, check out Slacker.com! I have it on my Blackberry and listen to it on my computer also.

LOL...
Winner of the "Holy Old Post of the Day" award.

Pandora is available for the Blackberry now, thats what I use :D

I'll have to check out slacker tho, is it like pandora where you set up the station or do they have preset stations?
Man..didn't even notice. Whoops!

But seriously, Slacker Radio kicks ass. Slacker.com

There are preset stations, then you can listen to artist's own radio types with selections of songs from them. I like it a lot.

Speaking of blackberry, make sure you download app world! Mobile.blackberry.com, RIM just launched the new app store for blackberries.

hmmmm I might check it out then, plug it into my HU and got even more good music :D

I dont buy enough apps to warrant that I think, but thanks :D

speaking of Sirius...you all do know that they are on the watch list for failing companies on 09 right?

You don't have to buy apps to appreciate App world. A lot of stuff is free!

Sirius filing for bankruptcy doesn't equal total fail. Hopefully, they just reorganize their debt from the merge and can continue growing.

That's old news. Liberty's 500+ mill will keep things afloat for another quarter or 2. Assuming they can make it through these tough times, they're poised to actually turn a sizeable profit in '10 and beyond. Offerings from Slacker (which is also a pay service) and Pandora are cool and all... but without the seamless integration that Sirius offers or the 'personalities' that make it more than simply listening to song after song... I don't think they'll impact Sirius nearly as much as some think. Mainstream Americans just want something simple and easy. Plugging in their Blackberry/Iphone into the aux jack of their car each time... then having to sort through things on their device... that's cumbersome compared to hitting one button on their HU. Sirius will be fine... Just gotta give em some time.

just downloaded slacker radio :D

i listen to howard 90% of the time. then since his channels are so far from the music ones i like if i want to hear music i just turn on FM or use my mp3 player

so... you're paying for Sirius mostly for Stern. Ok, fair enough. But tuning into FM instead of all the great music channels on Sirius simply because they're too far down the dial??? Please tell me you're joking! I don't know what kind of radio you're using but it can't be all that hard to program in some presets and then tune +/- from there. Some units even let you sort by genre so...

there's really only 1 radio station i listen to (radio 104). the receiver i have is really old (http://reviews.cnet.com/satellite-radio-tuners/xact-xtr3ck-visor-sirius/4505-7873_7-31641806.html). it looks like it has some presets on the top but i've never bothered to set them so i have to change it 1 at a time using the knob. it fits in the ash tray compartment so it's nice and out of the way however the preset buttons which are on the top are pretty blocked. every once in a while i drop down but it's a pain to turn the dial from 100 to the 20s to check if something good is on and then back up to 100 when i can hit 1 button to go to FM and many times like what's on. then if i don't like what's on FM i listen to a CD that's in the changer or go to my mp3 player. i'm content with my methods
