been gooooneeeee! ha! im more bonded with my 7 than i thought. its been 2 days, and i completely miss driving this car more than any other vehicle ive ever driven.

and my time away has given me a chance to ponder just how good the 7 actually is.

out of every car ive driven and the list is long, Acura RL's TL's, infiniti FX's, Lexus cars n trucks, etc etc i have a big family and in my fam i think we own cars with all the big guns out there..and i have come to 1 conclusion. I think the 7 drives as well if not way better than highpriced luxury cars n trucks

the driving experience in this thing 1. its really not like driving an suv 2. the power in this car with the engine is so phenomenal, your really dont even notice it and take it for granted till you drive a different car 3. the handling and road holding, in good conditions and bad is impecable 4. the steering and breaking in this car i would put up against any car within many other classes, its just THAT good. perfectly weighted, smooth, and i miss this car so much.

i think the fact that ur sitting in an suv like vehicle distracts you from the fact of just how fast and powerful it really is. Like ive said earlier, my friend who mainly drives his SLK AMG every day, drove my truck got out and just scratched his head.

buy one, and honestly, even if my car turns out with a horrible problem, i would buy another one because i havent driven a vehicle in recent memory like this. period.

I love the torque and response the most. Almost forget I am in a SUV.

Power.....still too slow for me since I have an Evo.(upyours)

good and amazing thread i do love my baby too!!! Its an amazing car with all the things you allready said !! The handling is amaizing, my brother has a Audi 2006 Sline with sport suspension. I drive it twice a week and i can tell the big difference, the cx-7 been a suv handles way better in curves and high speed. I think this mazda is a powerful car with an awesome brakes.I can tell that those brakes are way better than the A4, lesux r330, lesux I250, and the engine has a lot of potential.

You KNOW all my gripes about the radio, but PUT THAT ASIDE because I totally agree with you. I had to drive my Matrix last friday when the 7 was in the shop and just for that one day I felt like I was "slumming it". Even though I've driven the Matrix for 2 years happily, I missed the 7 so much! It is TRULY a special car.

Everything you say is 100% true.

include me in the list, my car is suppose to stay at the dealership over the weekend for the CEL (IMRC) & I already miss the CX7... (cryhard) (sad1)

I went to get an '07 VW Passat which they were selling at the same dealer, but when they showed me this 7, i was sold. Everything about it is amazing, the design, the motor and turbo and the amazing deal they offered. The CX7 is so much more "bang for ur buck". With the price i got for the 7, i would've had to go with a base Passat with hubcaps. I'm so glad I got the 7, and i'm glad I got the slightly more responsive FWD. I reached 3,000 miles already, should I get an oil change now? I know the manual shows a longer interval, but for a 1st oil change should I get one now? Cuz I do worry about the metal filings and other things I've heard of. It just hit 3,000. last Sunday.

I went to get an outback or wrx wagon...

Wife decided they were too little for us (uhm) and took me over to look at the CX7.

I dragged my feet as I really wanted the WRX wagon. But the for my needs the CX7 just made so much more sense that after pondering it a week I ended up buying a CX7 (cabpatch)

I then cheated and bought the wife a Subaru Baja Turbo so I see it a a win win. I got the CX7 and the Turbo Subaru too..(lol)

nice but the baja is slower than the cx-7 isn't??? i read it in edmunds!!

go for the oil change. better sooner, than later. even tho the manual says every 5k, the techs have been saying every 3k. Cant go wrong with 3k, givin the 7's engine and other attributes.

I love my CX, too. It's only been about 2-1/2 weeks, and still <500 miles, but this is the best vehilce purchase I've ever made! Unfortunately, we've been getting a lot of snow here in Cleveland, so I haven't really been able to take 'er out there and enjoy a spirited ride, but as soon as the streets clear and the weather starts to get nicer ... it'll be time for ZOOM ZOOM!!!!
(drive2)

the only thing i wish, is that i know Mazda wants to get across the "zoom zoom" and i guess its working cuz its apparent all over this board, but , CAN WE PLEASE get a commercial that is just a tinnnnnnnny bit less corny and promote the vehicle especially the 7 & 9 in a different, maybe more mature and accomplished light.

I think thats why i always thought of mazda's vehicles as goofy and never took them serious. ALthough they are just commercials, they really created an identity that stuck with me till i actual drove one.

Just because this is Valentine's Day week, we all don't have to go GaGa over the CX-7. Yes, it's true. I love mine too.
Did an oil and filter change at 1500miles and don't regret it.
Now have 3800 miles and can't wait to bring it in for a flash and what ever else it may need.
Yes, my mileage sucks, but love can and does make up for a lot in life. So keep on loving our CX-7's.
