Side mirrors - misting?

I have noticed that when driving my MP3 on the freeway in the rain, the side mirrors become very difficult to see out of.

It seems to be a combination of the water "pooling" on the side windows just behind the "A" pillar and then spraying in small droplets onto the mirror.

I tried putting some Rain-X on the mirrors, but since there isn't any air flow across the mirror surface it didn't seem to help at all.

Anyone else notice this, or have any ideas for a solution?

Try some FogX instead, it's the same basic concept as rainX but it's made for the inside of your windows (so it doesn't need the airflow). I don't know maybe it will work.
