Show me your CX-5 wheels

That’s a lower offset…. Higher would be 45ish territory.

Added these pics to another previous post, but the 35 offset puts you flush to the fender, but these conti’s are super fat and stick almost a 1/4 inch past the actual wheel lip.

No rubbing, lock to lock on corksport springs.
How has your steering response been? do you think that its the same, more sensitive, or more sluggish/takes more effort on the steering wheel to turn?

In Dec I picked up a set of 20’s from the cx-9 Azami. Thought they looked pretty unique on the cx-5 Akera Turbo. Wrapped in Hankook Ventus S1 evon3 suv 255/45/20. NEC minute the ‘22 model comes out with the same rim in 19s 🤦🏽‍♂️
Regardless I think the top spec cx5 deserves 20’s. Handles way better especially in the wet.

To add what I mentioned in previous posts…. Everyone is so worried about rubbing and fitment based on wheel width and offset… make sure you take into account the overall size of the tire. This is a 255 on a 9.5 wheel… conti dsw06 plus. Other brands will fit differently. So do your research before ordering. Sorry for the dirty wheels.

SSW Ultimate 20” 8.5J et45 with 255/45/20 RADAR DIMAX R8+ tyres

Just got washed today

Wheels still looks abit narrow for me, I see 275/40/20 is in line with the speedo by 1.5%, but the real issue is
1) will a 275 fit on a 8.5j
2) will it rub
3) has anyone fit it on 8.5j rim
So i finally put on adaptors, 5mm in front and 20mm at the back. the front look good to me, but the rear still does not look the way i wanted it to be. i am thinking of changing them to 25mm at the rear to give me the look i want.

Do you guys think it will be excessive and too much strain on the suspension or will it still be fine.

The back looks fine. Ya don't want tha ladies looking at your backside. Ya want them looking through tha open window at you.

I'd like to install the largest wheels and tires possible on my 2019 CX-5 without having to mess with the car's suspension and without scraping the wheels. I've been thinking about placing 20" rims with 255/50r20 tires. I'm not very concerned with performance but I am concerned about safety. I'm more concerned about the look of it (yes, shame on me). Can someone shed some light on this on whether this is possible and even if I could go even bigger?

Have fun going down the rabbit hole of wheel tire dynamics lol

I have a 2019 CX5 sig (OE 19x7 +45; 225/55r19)

New shoes tomorrow! Ill let everyone know how those fit

Enkei RPF1 f1 silver: 18x7.5 +48
Nitto nomad grapplers: 235/60r18

Downsized my 19”
Enkei RPF1 F1 Silver 18x7.5 +48 mm (16.9 lbs)
Nitto Nomad Grapplers 235/60r18 (32.72 lbs)

No rubbing at full lock 😎 the only issue is at this offset my axle studs are protruding - need to find a custom wheel center cap

Any suggestions?
Any suggestions for wheel center caps when ones axle stud is protruding past the wheel?
