Should I paint it?

Should I paint my rear valance flat black? I get a lot of soot there from the exhaust and I think flat black looks cool but it's a permanent thing so I wonder what everyone else thinks

I love the look. I keep toying with the idea myself. The dg cf piece would be another non-permanent way to get a similar look.

I like the way that looks, I'd do it if I had a lighter color car. Another thing if you could keep it clean is get some good quality mesh, then put some rubber around the edges. Mimic the high end sports cars.

Dont do flat if you do it...Flat does not hold up at all in the elements...Its not like Factory Flat black items. Looks good but paint it Gloss Black or leave it be....The DG lip idea is a good one as well...not permanent but would look good.
