Shorter Antenna

I seeking a shorter antenna for my Mazda 5 2010. Reason being, I put the 5 covered under a tarp shelter in the winter (Tempo Style). It (the current antenna) get caught while backup from the shelter. Anyone knows what would be a suitable replacement for the stock one?

Dodge Journey antenna for us, low cost and looks perfect on it.

Or... if you want to go sleek... you could get a shark fin antenna from VG.

I have one on my 5. The only thing that really suffers is the AM reception.

Way more expensive... but more fun i think. There was a vendor here that did group buys at one time.

I also second the Dodge Journey antenna. I originally suggested this antenna back in 2009. Part #5064710-AA $5.00 list price works perfect and clears my garage door.

I found the antenna on ebay because he shared the part #
It was actually listed as:
2007 - 2010 Chrysler Sebring
2008 - 2010 Dodge Avenger, Dodge Nitro, Jeep Liberty
5$ - and when I received it - I just can't think there is more suitable antenna for the 5 - Great look, perfect fit
Might share a photo later, but anyone who wants shorter antenna won't find better than this one

Question for you... I bought a cheap ebay short antenna which decreased my reception mildly. Did you notice and decrease in reception with this antenna?

No decrease in reception for me since day one, that is with an OEM Dodge Journey antenna bought from dealer.

Just got mine on order today. Something like 12.83$+tx.
Hope it clears my winter shelter and most garage doors when i'll install it.
