What little hard driving I have done in my P5, I did the following while attending the free 1/8 mile test and tune day at the track near my house. The only thing I changed before going to the track was changing the front tires to 25 PSI, and I had about a ~1/4 Tank of gas (93 octane). I made 3 free runs, (free because the only thing turned on were the staging lights, no times...

) I acheived my best results doing the following on my second run:
From a standing start, I Slipped the clutch quickly at ~3,000 RPM's... Mild wheel spin, with a noticeable wheel hop. (Tires were at 25 PSI in the front)
1st gear - Shifted at ~6750 RPMs, right into the redline.
2nd gear - Shifted at ~6000 Rpms.
3rd gear - Shifted at ~6000 Rpms.
Seemed like it did better at those shift points than redlining every gear in my first run. The engine's power seems to drop off quickly after ~5,750 RPM's in the higher gears. Anyways, my advice would be to practice your launching technique as much as possible before you go... It seemed to be the trickiest part. Good Luck!!!
