shift knob installation... suggestions?

hey.. it feels good to be finally out of school.

so i bought this led shift knob on ebay few weeks back and i didn't have the chance to install it cuz of school. iam planning on installing it sometime soon but since this is my first time playing with the wires on my car... i wanted to hear suggestions from any pros out there before i do..

any suggestions on how i should wire this?

it look something like this...

depends on when you want the light on the knob to come on...does the knob have a switch?

Wire it up to your parking lights wire. That way, it turns on when you turn the headlights/parking lights.

The color of the wire is in the car audio.electronics section.
