They wouldnt let me drive my msp until I practically signed for the loan.
It had 11 miles on it, and was the second one in the state. Never been out of the show room.

whoa.... I think I'm goin to check it out tomorrow...I live in toms river and I'm 10 mins away from that dealer.... I actually went there to inquire about msp but they never returned my call till today..... its kinda late though..I got my black mica msp and loving it..... well it doesn't hurt to see it...

It sucks when dealers treat people like that. When I bought my MSP, I test drove it once then came back about 2 weeks later and test drove it again, then bought it. They had 2, one outside and one in the showroom. I got the one in the showroom.

yah I went there this morning..they had the yellow one outside and I tried looking for the titanium one but couldn't find it.. its pretty hot.... looks betta in real life.....I also like the dark rims.... it's nice but not as hot as my black mica msp!!!... just playin

Turbo testing...PDI testing and moving around, off ship and on truck etc
11 miles is nothing. When I got my MP3 it had 320 kms on it. My civic before that, 210, Accord before that with similar. Your going to have something on it. My mp3 had a LOT on it I admit, but, the owner of Mazda was supposed to get it, and he drove it for a day, parked it at the lot without telling the salesman that he wanted it....meanwhile, I ordered it from another town, they shipped it that night, not even an hour after he parked it back at the dealer (thinking the guys were going to put plates on it and s*** for him for the next day) 8 am the next morning, I had it. Would have loved to see his face the next morning

Just a quick comment about the dickhead salesman. One of the last time I went into a dealership to buy a car I wanted to test drive it first. The guy was like "No you cant drive it, at least not till you sign for it" I was like "No.. I wanna know if I like it or not so I wanna test drive it." than the asshole is like "Well you cant" I was like "Why the hell not?" and he goes "Cause its still new and we cant risk damaging it."
So at this point I am thinking "What a prick" so I play along. I say ok, run my credit get me approved. So he does that and comes back and says something like "Your more than approved, lets get the papers running", so I am like..."K, but can I talk to the sales manager?" so he lets me.
This is what I said to the sales manager.
"I came in here today wanting to buy a car. The sales man wouldnt let me test drive it, that kinda pissed me off. He ran my credit and I am approved to buy that car right now. But because he was an ass, I'm not gonna buy that car from you. I am going to go over to Clint Newell and buy one." than I left. Now Clint Newell is this particular dealerships rival and they are always in competition with one another...always trying to outdo each other, so I am sure it pissed the manager off.
I actually called back a few days later and asked for that sales guy and they said he wasnt working there anymore. Rather it had much to do with me I dont know. But I hate people that treat you like crap.
Another little storie about the same type of deal is my senior year of HS I went to buy a suit and I went into the store and the old guy working there wouldnt talk to me and refused to help me(cause I was wearing my street cloths, jeans, t-shirt) well this younger guy helped me out. I walked out of that store with a $600 dollar suit, and a big ass smile cause when I paid for it, the old guy rang it up, and this store had commission. I simply said "I bet your wishing you werent such an ass to me hu?"

I got a few stories like that too. One is for a Stereo. I was very young, but I've been working making my own money since i was 11. I was looking at buying a Carver Amp for home, now, these things years ago were VERY HIGH end stereo amps. Anyhow, I was young so no one took me serious except one guy. I ended up paying for it in cash, amp/preamp ( your talking over 3 grand back in the early 90's) and laughed at the other jerks and walked out, needless to say he turned blood red as I laughed at em.
Happened when i was buying my furniture about 2 years ago. Store had a closing sale. Talked to one guy, tried to bargain with him, said I'll give you X dollors for all of this now, in cash......he looked at me like I was nuts and actually walked away. Luckily another salesperson thought his co-worked was an asshole, and I passed him the cash, and had the other guy carry it to my truck.....and I made sure I never lifted a finger to help
