rough idle when a/c is on

do you have the motor mounts upgraded, mine shook bad when i replaced front m/m, since i replaced the rear m/m it's almost unbearable to idle w/ac on

its called loss of power, exact reason i never use the ac in my msp, and also the reason im removing it completely when i install my forged motor.

I'd say you have aftermarket mounts and if not then a compressor that is about to seize. Pefectly normal to have a noticeable increase in vibrations with aftermarkets mounts, some of which are worse than others in that regard.

Its pretty common in these cars regardless of which mounts you have. The idle is adjusted allowing for a specific load on the system. The A/C draws a lot of current and puts a greater load on the system. If you watch your tach you'll prolly see the RPMs drop 100 to 150 when the A/C compressor kicks on. If you add lots of mods that draw additional power (audio amps, gauges, etc.), the problem with the A/C compressor will be exaggerated. In my house, if I'm watching TV, running the dishwasher, and doing a load of laundry, my lights will flicker when the big outdoor A/C unit kicks on. Its no different.

ohh i see....well then it could be my rear motor mount...ive replaced my front one while back but the shop told me to replace fron and rear..i guess it time to replace the rear mount
