Rotora BBK for speed 3

Anyone using this kit with a Speed3? I seen one guy on the boards using it with a base 3. I know of one other guy using the Brembo kit. I wanted people's opinions. I have this kit on order and got a great deal. I chose this over the Brembo kit for two reasons: one reason it offers more clearance for a variety of wheels. I chose the OZ ultraleggeras. The second reason is the the two piece rotors. The only issue I see is the support from other vendors for pads. I found one company Carbotech that is willing to make a custom backer plate to match the stock Rotora pad. Otherwise, companies like Hawk, EBC and Pagid don't have any exact fits.

Call Rotora and ask what shares that caliper. If the car is in the same weight class you could swap pads if they exist. For example the Brembos from Nissan are interchangeable on the 350z, G35, and Sentra SE-R to the front of an EVO. The STI and EVO share rear brembo pads and such. I may not remember the exacts of what cross referances to what but they do work.

I checked with Rotora and the D810 pad would possibly fit. This is the pad for a Ferrari F40. It has the same general dimensions. But, there is two cutouts next to the pin holes that's unique to Rotora's pad. As I stated earlier Carbotech agrees that the Ferrari pad should fit, but they are willing to make a special backer.
