Hey guys, been a Rotary Enthusist for 5 years now. been building rotary engines for 3 years. i'm kinda a weird one, i focus on the N/A Rotary engines rather than TII's. i've owned 4 Rx7's and still own 2 of them. things have been tight this year so unfortionatly they haven't moved allot build wise....
I'm a father of 3, married for 7 years, but luckily my wife still lets me live out my child dreams of racing and building cars.
now onto the stuff your really interested in.
My First rx7 was a 1985 GSL. 12a Carbed. i was young and didn't know much about it, so only owned her for 4 months. it developed a carb issue, that when i did research online i was reading into blown engines.... so i sold her and watched the guy adjust the carb and drive away....
my Second Rx7 i still own, she's a 1989 GTUs, that's right peeps a GTUs lol still N/A and that will probably never change. been running a Large Street ported motor for a while now, never dyno'd when it was running good lol, but blown (coolant seal stealing compression.... my radiator exploded because of this lol) it made 116 RWHP at UMS Tuning on their Dynapak Dyno. she's currently in rebuild stages right now just waiting on the finishing touches (intake gaskets) and she should be running strong again!
My Third Rx7 was a 88 Cabrio, i received her for fixing a ladies other cabrio, she said she couldn't pay me (which i wasn't planning on getting paid anyways lol) and she offered the Vert to me. it needed an engine, and i was going to rebuild, but ran out of time. was forced to move back to Utah from AZ and had to give her away to a good buddy.
My Fourth Rx7 i picked up as a shell. she's a 87 TII and needed.... everything lol i had a 88 TII motor freshly rebuilt, and decided to purchase a shell to get a running TII. Motors together and ready to drop in, just needs me to do it lol. i still currently own this one.
Now, onto my POGO's
My wife has always been a fan of the NA Miata. when she was turning 16 her mom wanted to get her a car, they test drove a NA6 and immediately she fell in love. unfortionatly the finances weren't avaliable and she couldn't get one. so 8 months ago i was able to find one for her in the same color as the one she test drove, only change this one is a NA8. she's super happy and excited to build this one.
and finally, my new family car is a 2006 MazdaSpeed 6. after 6 years of loyal driving from my D21 Pathfinder, at 238k miles she had had enough, and we picked up the Speed6. deciding if we are going to moddify this car, if so. it will ONLY be small things as it is the family car.
Well theres my intro, and heres some pictures of the cars ^_^ enjoy!!!
