Rime/Tire size options

So I am looking at some options for rim and tire size and need help deciding what will fit well on my Speed 3.

Here are the options:

1.) 18x7.5 wheels . 48mm offset | 225/40/18 tires

2.) 18x7.5 wheels . 48mm offset | 235/40/18 tires

3.) 18x8 wheels . 45mm offset | 235/40/18 tires

Thanks for any help. My main concern is that I do not want any rubbing or the wheels/tires to protrude outward too much from the body of the car. I also plan on installing the MazdaSpeed springs/camber kit at the same time if that makes any difference.

I'm trying to find similar answers. I'm actually considering going a different route with the size.

I'm wondering if there are any experts that can tell me whether I could fit up some 245/45/17's on say a 17x8" wheel. What sort of offset would I need to clear on the inside and would they stick out? Would I be able to get away with the Mazdaspeed Springs if I decided to get those as well?

Either that or a 245/40/18, although I don't really want to purchase 18" wheels.

The wheel is about flush with the outer front fender.

Are you sure they have 44 offset? I had 18x7.5 with 225/40/18 tires and a 45 offset, they really didnt come too close to the fender edge.
