reseting windows please help

I have read a few posts about window trouble but I didnt see any that specifically describe how to reset windows. All the windows worked at one point. Then i lost control to passenger windows from drivers controls. I took it to dealer and they reset windows. I recently installed CAI and now only drivers window works. Could anyone tell me how to properly reset windows. You hold down drivers window until it goes down and hold for 3 more sec. Do same to passenger side. TUrn off car and turn it back on . . . is this correct?? appreciate the help

While rolling up the windows from each position, hold switch in up position until you hear a click. I believe this info is in your owner's manual as well.

Its going to happen almost everytime you disconnect the battery, and what you do its hold each on up for 5 seconds, longer if you want, wont harm it. And if that doesnt work - do it down, just keep trying up and down, youll eventually get it. trust me.

I fixed it. Appreciate the help guys. Hold down for 5 sec . . . hold up for 5 sec. . . repeat on passenger . . fixed

So I installed my CAI today and had the same problem. I wasnt able to have any windows automatically rolled down, so I reset all of the windows. The Driver Side and the Passenger Side windows now work fine, but I cant get both of the rear windows to work. The only way to roll them down is to hit the buttons themselves. They still wont automatically roll down either. Any Ideas?

You just have to keep playing with it. Reset each window individually then do the same thing from the driver control area. The back 2 windows need to be reset individually as well.

So I figured out my problem. When I was resetting the back windows I was just pulling up on em. I read somewhere that you just have to keep going up and down. So I pushed it down then up and it worked fine. I guess i'm just not much smarter than the car.
