I want to replace my factory fog light bulb to match my Xenon lights. Does anyone know how to replace the bulb? I was thinking of getting a 6000k bulb (9006 H4). Does it matter which brand?
This is a relatively easy project and well worth it! Simply remove the panel beneath the bumper so you can reach in and pull out the bulb recepticle. Carefully remove the old bulb and put in the new one. Be careful not to touch the new bulb as your skin oils can shorten the life of the new bulb. Screw the cover back into place and then do the same on the opposite side. I had this done in less than thirty minutes and the Yellow bulb helps much more in the foggy weather. Makes you much more visible to oncoming traffic as well. I purchased the new yellow bulbs on ebay.
