2016~2022 Rear wheel well trim came loose

Just had my mazda 2020 cx9 rear wheei well trim reconnected on both sides. No accidents or incidents caused the problem. after reading other people have had the same problem I should have gone to the dealer but I already had it fixed at my expense.

As you know now, the dealer would fix this under the basic "bumper to bumper" warranty of 3yrs/36k mi (if you're in the US).

Did you have to replace the trim pieces, or did the shop just snap them back in place?
