Rear Map/Dome Lights Not Working

Hi all,

I've recently changed all the interior, parking and rear number plate lights to LEDs. Although the rear interior lights on the roof don't work. Do they have a separate fuse to the front ones or do you guys have any suggestions?

I'm new to this forum, sorry if I've posted in the wrong place [emoji14]
Thanks in advance for any help!

Sounds like maybe the switches have been turned off for the back. I noted that each of the dome lights has an individual push button switch and putting back the cover can cause the switch to be pushed turning off the light. After three months, I am sure figured that out. The other thing could be polarity. Try swapping ends on the LEDs. See the fuse caution below.

In my 2016, there is only one 15A fuse marked "room". I shorted that fuse out installing LEDs, and the car would not start and the remote would not work. In the end, I discovered the blown fuse and replaced it, everything works great again. I remove the fuse if I am going to do any changes to the interior lights.

Old thread, but I have a related problem:

I was replacing original interior bulbs to LED.

2022 CX 5 Premium Plus.

I was working on the rear seat dome pair.

While prying off one of the clear plastic lenses, one of the small black actuator buttons dislodged. Who knows where it went.

It’s the tiny physical button BEHIND one of the lenses.

Comparing to the adjacent switch, I’m quite sure it’s spring loaded on the back side of the full assembly.

1) Any ideas how to replace that button.

Is it even possible?

2) Might I have to replace the full rear dome assembly?

I’ve found them online+ but question the difficulty.

Thoughts?

Thanks! 👌
