ram air hoods

Does anyone have an idea as to who makes a good ram air hood for a 2000 Mazda Protege? Ive seen a lot of OEM style hoods and one DGMotorsports hood for the 01 and up vehicles. Also, does anyone have an idea as to how much a custom hood would cost? Know where one can be made? Just trying to get some options before I buy.

get in touch with motegimazda. she was dealing with someone who was supposed to be getting the 00 protege hoods made. she's on here in the florida section a lot.

that looks real hot.. i saw a picture of one on the orange msp and it looked like s***.. but i have the black mica and i think that would look hot, i'm also interested in the ram air hood tho

from what i've heard, a ram air hood would be impractical due to drag. if you get a cai and unscrew the bolt under the front of the flat plactic piece under the bumper, at freeway speeds it'll fly open and give you ram air... kinda. or you could find something to keep a gap open between the piece and the bumper.
