Raise boost and Gauge goes up?

The vac line should run off the port on top of the intake manifold to a T fitting, one of the lines off the T runs to the bypass valve, the other runs to the wastegate. The boost gauge should be T'd off a different vacuum line on the intake manifold, avoid running too many sources off the same vac line. A vacuum block on the brake booster vac line is really the way to go so each source can get the same vac reference.

Would any vacuum source on the intake manifold work for my boost gauge?

I don't know which one to cut and split off.

Any possible photos perhaps?

i ran the line horns is talking about dedicated to the WGA. though i used to run it T'd to the bov as specified. i never got around to changing hte stock autometer nylon line, its prob been leaking for ages.
as you can see, i tapped the Purge valve for my gauge. all other turbo parts are tapped off their own lines.

I redid my hoses. I have it now as wastegate/hose/mbc/hose connected to bottom of T/ left to connection to BPV and right T side to intake manifold.

And my boost gauge I have it connected to a hose on top but toward the back right hand side. Left tee hose plugs into a yellow air port that stick out of the intake manifold, the bottom of the tee is for the boost gauge, and right goes into a sensor? Is this ok? It reads ok. But my car idles, then the car studders for a bit then idles back fine.

But my boost doesn't read up when I turn it up anymore. Odd thing though, it feels like its pulling harder, but the boost still reads 6.

Bad wastegate?

I'm surprised you didn't know that. Pro-tip, there is an allen set screw on the bottom so you can turn the 'mazdaspeed' lettering straight, unlike the 07-09 MS3 cap which is always crooked.

+1 as I said in the other thread, MBCs aren't a great idea with a stock engine. Especially if you don't know what is going on with the car. BTW that is a very clean engine bay, can't believe the wiring harness and parts look so new. Definitely was garage kept.

previous owner shampooed the engine bay before selling it.

Degreaser and lots of tire shine. You probably have a vac leak or need new plugs if the idle isn't smooth, could even be a dirty EGR valve.
