Radio channel freeze issue

So my trial period for XM radio is over and I just renewed for 5 more months but apparently the package I chose doesn't come with the Howard Stern channel now. I have the 2 Howard Stern channels saved in my favorite section and now when I use the button on the steering wheel to scroll through channels it gets to these channels and says "Not authorize for this channel" and then it freezes on the channel I was switching from and I can't change it unless I use the commander knob to pick another fave channel out of the list. It seems I have to be on the channel first before I can delete it but I can't do that now since I can't get to it anymore. Is there any other way to delete these 2 channels without removing the cable from the battery (just guessing that would work like it did with the old radios in my old cars)?

Try going to the channel you want to replace the Stern one with and then pressing and holding down on the screen the preset that has the Stern radio channel until you hear a beep. It should override it and save the new channel as a preset.
