which intake should I get?

I have a good deal on a RB intake and I'd be paying full price for a AEM.

suggestions?

true.

but i can get a nice deal on the RB intake.

just wondering if anyone else has used this on their miata without me having to go onto miata.net because i hate it there.

eh, I've had a few "free" and "nearly free" parts from friends. Nothing beats paying the price for modifications to your car. Makes you appreciate it a LOT more, trust me. I've actually removed most of the "free" and "nearly free" parts and replaced them with ones I've bought, with the exception of the AVC.

However, as he stated, RB does make good stuff. They were the ones Mazda went to to tune the suspension initially for the MSP, so I can't say anything bad against them.

Then again, I also have an AEM intake waiting in my closet to be installed.

Personally though, I'd go with the CF, especially if it's real CF and not a print.

i've thought the same thing. i'd totally appreciate it more if i had gotten something without a deal, but sometimes that's just what you need to do. i'd rather take it now and be satisfied other than waiting longer to get something of full price.

..but i'm not patient.

still depends on the quality of parts, if it's a good piece, why not get it for free, or nearly free
he mentioned it having only 30000k miles on it and it was in excellent condition.

Is my ghettoairboxmod not enough for you?!#
hahahahaha, you have no idea how many people ask me about that. "It sounds nice, intake?" No, it's Clayzorized.

make sure the air filter itself is still in good shape, and that he cleans it before selling it to you
