Hey everyone!
I bought 2002 P5 a couple months ago, and it is a nice little car, but this one has a few quirks to work out.
So the exhaust is all kinds of mangled from the pre-cat back. The cat on the mid-pipe was cut out and flex-pipe was welded on; and the muffler was rusted through at one point (The rest of the car is surprisingly rust free). The repairs on the exhaust are sketchy to say the least. I'm looking for a replacement exhaust system, and my eyes are set on the OBX cat-back exhaust system right now, but the issue I am running into is that the description of what they mean by cat-back. Does the exhaust system start at the pre-cat, or after the mid-pipe?
