Question RE Brembo rotors and pads (2016.5 CX-5 AWD)

I am considering Brembo brake rotors and pads for my next brake job. Car is a 2016.5 CX-5 GT AWD.

• Pads, front -- Brembo Prime #P.49.045
• Pads, rear -- Brembo Prime #P.49.053

Brembo also lists a ceramic version of the pads:

• Pads, rear -- Brembo Ceramic #P45053N

Questions:

1. Any specific reasons to choose the ceramic pads over the standard (Prime) pads?
2. Will either work well with the selected cast iron rotors above?
