Hey everyone, I currently have a problem with my cats. They seem to be stopped up and need either replacing, to be taken off, or punch. Well, I'm a little strapped for cash so replacing is last resort. I still have stock exhaust on it right now, but I'm thinking about running straight pipes...I hear if you punch the cats they sound s****y.

I also wanted to know if I did end up either punching or just running straight pipes, would this effect my ecu?

I'm running a Corksport turboback (basically straight pipes) with a resonated race pipe and have had zero issues.

You can throw a test pipe up there for really cheap in place of the second cat. The first cat might be a little more expensive (in terms of time and money) since it's on the downpipe basically.

Good lord, the downpipe is a b**** to replace.
