Question for e-manage (blue) users

If I utilize the optional injector and ignition harnesses to directly control my fuel and timing; will the e-manage unit still be capable of performing its basic function of altering MAF signal via the rotary knobs on the unit its self?

I know that altering MAF signal can in some cases be an unreliable means of tuning fuel in our cars, so just let me say right away, that isnt what I have in mind. I just want to know if the blue unit can perform these 3 functions at the same time.

Also, can someone clarify for me what the e-manage keys on when altering timing and fuel (when using the optional injector and ignition harnesses)? If Im not mistaken, I would be using a +/- % correction vs. RPM table, correct?

In the basic form of the e-manage, you only use the rotary switches to alter

the MAF signal. You have to buy the support tool and cable if you want to

tune fuel/timing. And yes the e-manage and perform these tasks at the same

time (MAF to decrease fuel, injector to increase fuel, ignition to +/- timing).

Also you have to buy an O2 voltage clamp or the e-manage will be useless as

the ECU will pull fuel under a rich condtion. I am tuning with the option 3 BAR

MAP sensor(RPM vs. pressure).
