Protge5 V2.0?..

I have sadly not been behind the wheel of a Mazda for over a full year now.
Long story short I traded my p5 for a civic when when it became to troublesome for my budget to suffice. Worst of all the civics automatic! Well finally I caught a break and got a job working for the post office making some decent money. You know what that means...
Time for a new car!
I found another P5 at a small dealer while crusing around a week ago. They must have just got it because it wasnt on the site yet or anything. Went back the next day and talked to them about it. I got approved for a personal loan for it from my credit union and should be going to trade in the civic pick up the my new pro5 tomorrow! That is if all goes well and I get out of work at a decent time. Its got lower miles than my last one and is in really good shape.
Needless to say im excited..

Thank you!
Here's a little sneak preview..

Got the car today!
It feels awesome to be back in a p5.. The dealer had replaced a front wheel bearing, rear strut and sway bar end link. As well as a leaking power steering line.. Its was ready to rumble when I got out of work. Bastards didnt recharge the AC but I managed that already haha. The level was pretty low so hopefully it the charge will hold.. Anyways. Took it for a quick test drive and was convinced. Everything felt tight and on point it. Man im excited! Here is the specs and some pics for your viewing pleasure..

Looks awesome and great mileage. Is there any rust? I know the first p5 I got was from Massachusetts and let's just say I had to return it to the dealership it was so rusted underneath...

Underneath is surprisingly clean for a mass car and no signs of any rot yet. I still need to get it on the lift and get a closer look. Getting the bottom undercoated is one of the first things on my to-do list..

Congrats! It's definitely something to find a 10 year old P5 in such good condition.

Dude thats awesome man congrats for you. Yah one owner and 95 k thats a steal. Oh and I say all you need is a short antenna though, I hate those stock ones. But your reception could get worse for fm like mine did. So make sure if you do get one that has really good reviews. Probably throw a tint on there and it'll atleast get a bit more sporty look on it.

Thanks guys..

@kosteniuks17 a stubby antenna(or maybe an rx8 one) and tinted windows are on my long and growing list of things I wanna do to the car. Ill post all of my plans for it later on...

Thank everyone.
Put almost 100 miles on it already, and I am in love.. I was looking at a lot of other cars before this but i'm so glad I waited and ended up in another P5. I've got a long weekend coming up so I'm hoping to get a little work done on it.

"The plans"
(Current)
-New NGK Spark plugs
-Seafoam treatment
-K&N Filter
-Fluid changes
-Undercoating
-Detailing
-New head unit
-Install Amp (Polk mono) and sub(Rockford fosgate)
-35% tints
-Stubby antenna
-Short shifter
-Floor mats (Didnt come with any :( pm me if anyone has for sale)

(Future)
-Motor mounts
-RB Catback
-Ksport coilover
-Msp sways
-Rpf1s
- Ect. Ect....

Those are what I've pretty much set in stone, I'm sure there will be more thought.

Didn't get to much done to the car this weekend thanks to the rain. I did receive my key fob and managed the program dance first try haha.

Keep those wheels chrome!! They look great when you get some armour all on the tires and shine em up! same model P5 as mine! chrome wheels and all! Deff go for the window tinting. makes the silver stick out more. Great looking Car!!

Thanks Ubel Knubel. Im going to have to take them off for winter if I wanna have a chance of keeping the rims chrome. I was thinking about some steels with snows tires in the future. That's awesome that our P5 are so similar! Out of the 13 vehicles I've owned in my life time, this protege5 is definitely top 3. I really enjoy this car.

I finally got around to doing the seafoam treatment. 1/3 of the bottle through the brake booster, then the crankcase and the rest in the gas. I filmed the exhaust while doing the vacuum line but got no smoke.

Also picked up some plugs today
