Where can I find general info about Proteges? Unfortunately there's no FAQ on this forum for basic questions like...
I just bought a 2002 Protege as spare car for my wife. Got it off Craigslist for $2100. 110K miles, only minor accidents/fender benders, no rust. Her daily is a Nissan Leaf, but she needs another car for occasional trips beyond the Leaf's battery range. No plans to mod this car. I joined this forum in 2006 when my wife had a Mazda3, but haven't been here since she sold it in 2011.

- what are the OEM 4 lug wheel and tire specs? I have the 5 spoke alloys.
- What are the trim models for non-Mazdaspeed models? I have a LX.
- How much Ford influence/parts is in this car? Not that it is a bad thing.
- What are common problems to look for? Mine is an automatic.
- Any simple hacks/mods that improve the car?
