protege 02 ECU

i was just wondering, since my dad works for a company that makes ECU's and has accesss to all the ECU's and i was wondering if you can flash the Mazda speed protege's ECU onto the regular protege to increase performance. Would this work on my 2002 Protege LX??

The Mazdaspeed is turbocharged, so the ECU would not work with your car without a turbo. There are several people on here running that type setup. The MP3 ECU is what you want with a non turbo Protege. Both the MSP and MP3 ECU's only work with the 5 speed.
