Ok, so it sounds like there is intrest in getting together for President's Day. Since Monday is coming a lot faster than I had realized, I figured we could try to get something set.

So, being a holiday do we want to do another BBQ? Or, would we rather do an around the Island cruise? I'm down for whatever, just want to get something set so I can put the word out to the club.

If we do a BBQ we could meet at Waipio Park again. That seemed to work pretty well for the last one. If we want to cruise there are plenty of places we could meet up at. Any suggestions?

A BBQ sounds good. If we go to the park we might have to go early since its a holiday weekend. A cruise is fine too but just alot more miles for my poor car. I'm at 31,000 already and its not even 2 years :(

Well, Monday (according to weather.com) we're looking at a high of 85 with a 10% chance of precip. That sounds like BBQ weather to me. I would definitely be down for a BBQ, but if we're going to have one we're gonna need to figure out what everyone's bringing. Who's got a grill?

bbq dude. ill stop by for sure, but i got to do a project for school ;) - chris

if its a bbq then i think someone might have to get a permit for a spot! unless we head down like 7 to hunt one down! might be hella packed! also parking might be a problem! but yet i dunno how popular waipio park gets on holidays so its worth a try! im down for anything but looks like presidents day is gonna make a good turn out!!

BBQ it is then. I don't know about a permit. Do you guys really think President's Day is going to be that bad at the parks? Memorial Day and Labor Day I can see, but President's Day? I hope it won't be that bad, I doubt too many people are gonna be up for rolling down in the early AM. Ah well, we'll figure it out.

So, what's everyone bringing? I can go out and buy a grill unless someone else has one already they want to bring.

i'll bring the napkins!!! lol j/k I'll bring a cooler of sodas again, someone else can bring the napkins lol -mike

What time is good for everyone? I'm off work, so whenever is cool. Who does have to work that day and what time?

As for where, I think the place we used last time (next to the ball field) worked out fine. Just so long as it's not too crowded.

gotta be somewhere by 6pm... kinda sucks but the earlier the better, plus daytime is better for picture taking. lol i dont know, up to you guys -mike

I'm off work that day so anytime is fine with me. Lunch would be better though since I'm not sure if I have family stuff for dinner yet.

Ok, sounds like lunchtime is best for everyone. Is 11 AM too early or would we rather start a litle later? My thinking is if we get down there around 11:00 we might beat some of the crowd. Anyhow, as of right now: Monday the 16th lunch time @ Waipio Park near the Baseball Fields. Here's what we've got so far:

vodapas77 - Grill, Charcoal, Buns
hawaiian_msp - Cooler of Soda
dakineP5 - Chips
EVADE - Rice
ssmp5 - "unbroken weiners" if he can make it (that's funny as hell Stacy)
