Yeah, me too. Once I get the ability to log boost, or figure some other way out to figure out what's going on when, I'll bump things down to 11.5:1 or 12:1. My guess is I won't see any difference in power until I get the exhaust. It just seems to be choking the life out of the car.

Sweet...thanks for the comparison livelyjay!

Once you get your Vibrant Exhaust, so back an dyno again at 6psi so we know the full story on that too :)

You got the $85 for that? It'll be a while before I get the exhaust. I have to wait for my extended warranty refund check (cashing that sucker out), plus I have to start saving for a wedding. I'll probably use some of my tax refund for the exhaust as well. I'll likely need the Kartboy hangers too, so we're talking about $900 shipped for everything. Then the dyno adds another $85 to that. This won't be happening till spring, so maybe I can get in on a dyno-day with the clubs around here and get a deal that way.

Any ways, it'll be a while before the exhaust goes in. Plenty of time to play with the fuel map and get it tuned to 12:1 where I want it.

Cool....and yup, I have a few bucks :)

16" 13lb wheels, best mod for this car.
You have these? which ones?
Too bad I just bought new tires for the stock 17's. I was thinking about going down in size and getting rid of all that weight, but I would never have been able to make up my mind on a wheel/tire combo, and I needed tires ASAP.

extended warrenty refund?

how do you do this?

now let me ask something that i'm not too sure of. When you bring you car to get dynoed, do you need a wideband in order to get those a/f readings?or do they just hook it up to one of ur o2 sensors. I'm going to jump in the GB for the afc and i am most likely going to make a trip up to a local dyno and send DSM my results to get a custom map.

the shop with the dyno usually provides the wideband with a sensor that they clip into your exhaust tip.

Extended warranty purchased through Fidelity Warranty Services. Warranty transferred to my name with proper paperwork + $40. Go into dealership, say "Hey, I want to cash out my extended warranty". Some paperwork and a few weeks later I get the cash out, minus depreciation (based on mileage) - $50 for processing.

When you go to the dyno, they put a tube in the muffler. That tube connects to the wideband and puts the readings onto the computer hooked up to the dyno.

Update: I got the dyno files from the shop, so I made some graph exports to compare with the first dyno. Enjoy everyone.

Exhaust will be purchased in the spring (most likely, who knows, with my birthday money coming in it just might give me the incentive to buy it). With the holidays coming up and since I have no idea what the winters are like down here, I won't have the time to install it before the snow starts falling.

Well, looks like I have no self control. Vibrant exhaust and Kartboy hangers purchased this morning. I'll probably get around to installing them the weekend after Thanksgiving.
