After reading a post by MidnightP5, I decied this was worth posting....

About 3 weeks ago I was waiting at a stop light in my area. Now, just for background, I live in one of the wealthiest areas in the country per capita (don't be confused, i'm broke as hell tho). I'm at the light with my windows down talking to my friend when we hear this humming coming from around the bend of the cross street.... The humming quickly turns to roaring and suddenly 2 cars com flying around the bend at well over 100mph. One, a cherry red ferrari F50 ("ooohooh the sweetest thing!") and closely behind, a dodge viper also in red(couldn't tell which trim... like it makes an f***ing difference?!?) We watch as these 2 driving machines fly by us at the intersection at god-like speeds in a blur of red and chrome. Looked like 2 jet-fighters doing a fly-by at mach 2. Breathtaking...

When the light turned green, I forgot to move my car... I was still in awe... It was the most unbelievable sight.... Automobiles at their peak... maybe one day that'll be me. In the mean time, I'll take my little blue monster!

I'd take the Ferrari(I assume that's what the poll is for) as I have always had a thing for them....altho don't get me wrong, I wouldn't pass up either of those sweet cars!

I'm all about the Ferrari. Got a ride in one and to sit in another one before. The ride was all of a couple hundred feet down at Sebring. I was drooling over this guys car when I was a corner worker for the 12 hour race practices. He gave me a ride to the officials booth. The other one, I think it was Chip Ganassis, or one of the other team owners. My sisters fiance drove the hauler and was a tire man for the team and brought the car in the trailer by the house one night so we could see it. That was schweet! Rough life growing up around racing.

Without a doubt Ferrari. I think Ferrari over any car, cept for maybe a McLaren. But yeah, its amazing to watch a Ferrari and Porsche go by, and watching a Ferrari and Viper at it. WOW!! Two lucky guys eh?

Damn! This one's tough! I've driven an ACR Viper before and it was unlike anything you imagine. Never been in a Ferrari, but I'm guessing it is much the same feeling. But I know that I've seen stuff on Car and Driver TV where the dude was going 180 in a Ferrari with his hands off the wheel and the thing tracked perfectly. I don't think that would be the case with the Viper as it can be a handful. On the other hand, one day I might be able to afford a Viper, whereas a Ferrari will be pretty much out of the question. I've still got to go Ferrari...
