sorry man.. cant really give you a definitive answer on that one :)

welcome to my world...i have no idea...i really like the look of that second one..plus it doesnt say whether it WILL or WILL NOT display the tag info on a tv...Lanzar makes pretty good sh*%..i bet it probably does..but..well...demmit..i dunno

I hate when this happens...............it's like we take FOREVER to pick the "perfect" mod for our car - even if it is only the Air Freshner.......It takes me forever just to determine if I want to switch scents or not - I ussualy end up keeping the same smell anyway.....

well..i emailed Lanzar about that second DVD player to see if they have an OSD for MP3 tracks...hope so..if it does i will definately get the Lanzar.

I noticed something else about that tv...the swivel point for that tv is near the middle of the tv so...if you have the tv installed above the HU, when the tv is out..the bottom half of the tv MAY be blocking the display on the HU..just something else to think about.

what do you think?

Oh crap! I hope that is not the case........what do you think guys?

I dont think that it will block the HU below it... the swivel point is in the middle of the screen... but it looks like (from those angles) that the bottom of the screen is level w/ the bottom of the in-dash part of the unit... now.. as for perspective... the tv is out about a half inch or so.... and if your a really tall person that could kinda obscure your view of the head unit... and since that part of the console (where head units install) is generally lower than most peoples eye level when sitting in the car it could pose a problem... however.. if you were to be looking dead on at eye level at the head unit and tv right above it... there should be no obstruction... it all depends on your perspectives from diff angles.

yeah, good point......I plan to get rear monitors anyway, but for my front seat passengers and myself I dont want my view to be blocked.

I think when i get that tv..im gonna take it apart and paint that silver frame around the screen to match my car...i know..bye bye warranty, but oh well..it will look cool when it matches my interior..what do you guys think?..yay or nay

YAY - I'm sure that will look sweet, if and when you do it please be sure to keep us updated ... you have a yellow Mp3 right?
is it possible to have your buddy put some vinyl over it?

You know what I was thinking - It may be close to the silver brushed look we have next to the CF trim and around the HU......what do ya thaink?

I HATE THAT SILVER...i am having all of my dash, door panels, seats, etc. dyed..well any part that is silver will be dyed or painted yellow to match the car

heres my ride right now..actually the calipers are now yellow too

Nice car!! Be sure to keep us updated with pics if you go through with painting the In-dash.

BTW: In-dash monitor has been ordered!!!! I'll keep you all updated with info and pics when put in.....

7'' monitor installed

Ok guys, I have the monitor installed - finally!!

I ordered it a month ago and had to wait due to the high demand, it was back ordered.........When they did get it in they shipped it overnight DHL for me (free, well 5 bucks) I was amazed how quick it ended up on my door step.

Anyway, I did the install myself; I removed the HU and pocket. I took the HU metal sleeve and placed it where the pocket was and inserted the HU - easy. I ran all wires prior to the monitor install so all I had to do was put it in. I have the PS2 hooked up and the sound for my games/dvds are throughout the car speakers.

The picture quality is great. Better than expected, it is made by SHARP. It has been great so far.

My question is where is a good place to mount/put the PS2?
opinions?
