We just got our car back today from having our Katzskin seats installed onto our Touring. They're black with gray inserts for a little bit of contrast.

On the back of the back seat, is it leather, or cloth like the stock seat is?

The back of the back seats is a black carpet type material.

This set us back $1500, but we did upgrade to the two-tone material. It was through the dealer as is under warranty.

If you went with one straight color and did the install yourself, you could do it for under $1k.

Damn! According to their site, the CX5 isn't listed, and the mazda 3 with 2tone is listed at over $2k!

Well, they definitely have it. The dealer ordered it on Wednesday last week and had it on Friday. They don't make the kits until they're ordered, so they're all kind of "custom".

Most of their kits come with door inserts and an arm rest cover. Did yours come with those?

looks awesome....how did you get katzskin seats ordered....?was enquiring for my cx5 touring but never get response from katzskin...was gonna install myself...looks really awesome....

You're right. My cheap bastard side just has not filter sometimes.

Uhhh, they make a dog-resistant rear seat cover exactly for that purpose. Of course some will say, get rid of dog....

They still fold down, but it's 40/20/40 on this car.
