yeah, they are most likely surface barbells...you did get the proper surface ones right? If you didn't and just got normal barbells put in there, it may reject

also, are those above the surface? Cause it looks like they are a little deep into the skin...like partially, if not more submerged into the skin. Regardless, it looks painful, and kick ass

it's done w/ "staples"... barbells that are bent to look almost like a staple.

Yes, they are surface piercings (very hard to heal)... it's 2 staples paralell going at a downward/left angle.. like / /

as fopr the amount of meat pierced... yes, it is a lot. because surface piercings like to reject/migrate... you should always grab a bit more skin than the bar can cover to allow for migration without losing the initial placement of the bar.

why would someone do that. Surface piercing do look like that, I've just never seen them in that deep. Prolly a good idea now that I think of it. Still, painful as ****, and I understand how they hurt more now than when you got it done. It's the healing that ******* hurts, and gets all itchy and irritated, and will even burn a bit. Worse then any needle could do.

What a great way to store magnets! Maybe you could wire up some LED's or something to the back of your head to accent them.
