PG Full length SRI

Well, after a long time, I finally got my PG Full length SRI. First I recieved the Intake without the TIP about 2-3 weeks ago, and I put it on. It was an easy install, took no longer than 30 minutes, and I loved the sound it gave so I really didnt mind not recieveing the TIP on time. So today after work, I came home, and 15 minutes later, the UPS guy came with the TIP. Boy was I excited(humpleg).
About an hour and 30 minutes later, the TIP was on, and in the process I dropped one of my 10mm wrenches down into the engine bay, so I tried to get it out but I couldnt find it, should I be worried?
Anyway after that, i went and turned the car on, I noticed that it has a rough idle but the CEL didnt come on. Next I went for a drive around the block to see how it goes, and it's all perfect, I stepped on it a bit to see if there is any change in sound, and WOOW the turbo spooling, the bypass valve hissing, all those sounds was like heaven(bolt), I love it even more now... didn't think it was possible...

Sorry for any mistakes up above, im kind of in a hurry, just wanted to let you know my install/first impressions.

Got home shortly after, let the car idle for some time to see if I was going to get the smoking issue, and there was none. The only thing that has me worried is the rough idle and the wrench of course. Will the rough idle go away after some time(when ECU gets used to the changes in airflow)?

Did you disconnect the battery before install? It's good practice to disconnect the battery for install and then reconnect it, start it up and let it idle for 5 minutes or so after install. Try not to touch the throttle during this period. That is the source of the rough idle. As for the wrench, I'd try and find it, but I guess if you drove around already it's probably gone.

I did remove the battery completely from the car, I had to, I couldnt get to the stock TIP with it still in the car. I did let it idle for a few before taking it for a drive, as for the wrench I didnt notice any noise while driving so it could have fallen out. Im gonna go for a longer drive soon, but an easy one on the engine, I wont go WOT for another 200 miles.

Another thing that might have caused the rough idle is where the filter is positioned on the SRI. If it's to far on it can cause you're car to "freak out". I did that once by accident and just pulled it off just a bit and fixed my problem. You could also try cleaning you maf sensor, you might have gotten some crap on it while adding the parts. Simple thing to try just for the heck of it.
