People like this should DIE

Sign of the times man, people feel so under pressure...and we want things to happen FAST (I am guilty as we all are).

It is also a fact that there are more shoppers and LESS checkout people in many stores as companies try to save money.

I just wish people would just be more considerate and relax. And if you have an appointment, WTF are you doing shopping so late?
I just don't give a s*** anymore, so I'm NEVER in a hurry.

I'd a smacked the b**** too.......I hate when people behind me in line start getting huffy.

Yeah, that's true. I can't stand when some dumbass keeps running the cart into my ankle...I'll shove the cart back at them so hard it knocks them over!

The first woman could flap her lips and start cussing, but then she had to take the chicken-s*** way out and get her husband involved. Don't start something you can't finish. Not that I justify any of it but c'mon. If you feel the need to continue it at least do it yourself.

Geez, you don't think that would be overreacting just a little?

Just because someone is impatient doesn't give you the right to turn around and commit assault!

I'm exaggerating a little.....more like a figure of speech.......I'd probably just tell the damn lady to chill the **** out.....I wouldn't actually slap her. I don't think I could really ever hit a woman.....I'm really big (6'8") so it would look very bad if I did and I'd probably get arrested for assault.

Yeah,

It's the store's fault one woman is impatient and pushy and that the other suffers from a Tonya Harding complex. Right.

very true. and as well, sometimes these checkout people themselves are slow as hell. i gotta say, the service in america is bad...in a lot of places. go to japan (or any other part of asia i assume) and people are fast as ****. no joke they make you feel rushed. that makes me want to move slower on purpose (i dont do that), but that's how fast service should be. and that doesn't mean they're rude, in fact they're VERY polite. checkout rage is untolerably stupid, but checkout services should also speed up.

Working in a supermarket for 14 years now. Often do see customers getting ansty and annoyed with each other. To an extent, it can be partly the stores' fault, as they do preach convenience, but never have enough help to ensure the customers are served fast and efficiently. When you gotta wait 10 minutes to buy a gallon of milk and a loaf of bread.......However, it's not the fault of the other shopper. Take it out on the store manager.

The worst case of customer rage i ever saw was a guy who hurdled the deli counter and beat the slicer unconcious! all because he thought the guy threw his lunchmeat at him.

Boy, as soon as I see that man try to approach me I would've grabbed the eggs I just bought and threw it at him, then commenced to beating his ass in front of his wife. lol People just get mad at anything nowadays. I'm a scarry person though. If I feel threatened, I'll fight back. No matter how big they are or if they have a weapon, me like a dumbass will still fight to the end. Damn Marine training. lol

I'm sorry but that's hilarious.

dude, the shoppers in my store are so used to our checkers, who are mediocre at best, i've actually had people complain i was going too fast! i mean, how bad is it when one person (me) can change the efficiency rating for the checkers, and i'm only there 3 days a week!!! and only in a checkout 1 of those 3!

What are you sorry for? it WAS a riot!! haven't seen anything like it since. need more excitement..........(cheers)

who cares whoae fault it is or whatever. the main concern is that something like this would not have happened 20 years ago. the only ones to blame are ourselves as a society. we've become obsessed with the idea of convenience. everything has to be bigger, faster, and most importantly better. look at the cars we buy (suv's) and the houses we live in. also, people have no patience anymore, and im not just talking about grocery lines.
next time someone cuts you off, look in your rear view. chances are there wont be anyone behind you, but the asshole couldnt wait to turn so he decided to risk his life just to get somewhere faster.

this is just one of the very many problems we have. a few more that bother me are the overall lack of morals and the short attention spans (im sure some people wont even read this because they think its too long), and as time passes, people will only get dumber, fatter, and more violent. it makes me not want to have children just because i cannot imagine what the world will be like in 20 years when they would be grown. i could go on all day about the lack of morals, but then people really wouldnt want to read this.

dont get me wrong, im not a jesus freak or anything (i havent been to church in 7 years) and im not preaching the gospel here, but these are issues that just piss me off.
