painters tape pics....

does anyone have any pics of a car or their car with painters tape as a protectant while takin a road trip? im gonna take a 7/8 hour road trip to MD (from NC) and i wanted to protect the front end and hood....tryin to get an idea of where all to mask.

For the most part, don't tailgate people and you will not have to worry about it.

We would do that when going from NJ to GA, Canada, etc .. it holds up well -- expcept in heavy rain.

Just cover as much of the front of the car as you can -- dont forget the front edge of your sideskirts, the inner edges of the rear bumper ... and your mirrors

You forgot behind the fenders and the grille. I had to replace my grille from last winter when the person in front of me spun tires throwing a rock thru it and bounced off the tranny cooler. I now have to repaint the new on again. Anyone got picts of the elise covered with tape before it hit the wall at VIR

oh this was before i got done with everything. I ended up doing the ridge of the upper windshield, finishing the entire front bumper, the back part of the denerd up onto the drivers door, the rear bumper behind the wheel, and the front part of the wing.

It was a blue banana like none other.
