Red. Bright red. Not sure what i think about it yet, the car is still up in the air drying the last caliper, so illl have pictures in an hour or so. I painted it with 1200 degree spray paint. Fortunately my car just broke 6k miles, so the calipers were pretty damn clean...all i did was rub them down with some steel wool briefly and started painting. i oversprayed on like every damn one, but i used steel wool to rub the paint right off the rotor. Hopefully i didnt paint anything i wasnt supposed to. Here are a few questions I've been thinkin about while ive been waiting for it to dry:
1) How long did you let it sit before you drove it? I mean it can feel dry to the touch, but when you start heating up, how long?
2) When you wash it at a high-pressure setting car wash, do you just not get close, or once it drys you dont have to worry about it?
And one last thing...when taking off my rear wheels (the first time i have done so since puttin my konigs on), i had the beat the **** outta them to get them to come off the hub! i was worried for a sec cause the left rear i REALLY had to tug...i thought the car was gonna come off the jackstands! i thought for sure i was gonna be driving around with one painted caliper...why did it do that?
