Hey everyone, I finally got along to installing the blacked out emblems on my car. The install was very easy, the front emblem's clips werent all that difficult to remove and the new emblem popped right in.
The rear was simple, heat gun and dental floss (happen to have tons of that with a dentist in the house), nice and slow. The rear emblem pops in 2 guide holes and lines up very well. I removed the "3" from the rear and installed the blacked-out mazdaspeed logo. The black emblems really look great, make my black mica look more stealth-y lol.
The car seems to be coming along with the cp-e tow plate, blacked out emblems and the forge BPV. I have the Mazdaspeed CAI w/ air straightener on order at the stealership along with the Mazdaspeed CBE, both installed for $750+tax.
I came from a booty ass 99' ford exploder, so this seems like a whole new world to me.
